Lagos Nigeria

In 2019 Independent Energy performed a system upgrade with local partner Sosai of a previously installed system at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in Lagos, in Nigeria. The solar installation means the EDC is now able to partly power their own requirements using clean, renewable energy, and the addition of batteries means black- and brown-outs due to weak grid supply are no longer an issue!
The system now is equipped with a sturdy OPZV battery bank of 1.700 Ah, a 3 x 5KVA inverter system and a 250 V 100A solar charge regulator with matching solar array.
